Where you at?

First off, there will be a new Chart within the next few days, so step back off that ledge!

Now that I've gotten that out of the way . . . I just thought I'd give you gals and guy a small update on what we're up to in this off-season. When we started doing this podcast, I hoped that it could become a way for L Word fans like me to create a network where we could gossip about the L and anything else we feel like dishing about. I feel like that's starting to happen here, but Blogger is just not the greatest format.

I'd like to have a simple, user-friendly forum where everyone could post instead of just commenting on my posts, and where you can respond to a specific comment instead of having to add yours to the end of a single string. It would also be cool if we could post pictures there (you should just SEE what Ellie sent me today!), and have a 'friends list' sort of thing so we could read each other's blogs with a minimum of click-throughs.

If you're a livejournal user, some of this may be starting to sound familiar . . . I like the way livejournal works, but it's not very customizable and has some really negative connotations (like that it's full of hysterical fourteen-year-old girls, which it is). We're looking at different styles of web forum to try to figure out what will work for us. And oh yeah, whatever we end up making has to be incredibly easy to moderate (because we do, in fact, have lives).

KC and I are going to have a little pow-wow today over pie to work on creating a web presence that focuses more on the Kelkians (and maybe the Mashliens, too) and less on Kelka. We'll talk to you soon!
